The Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland and Founder RAFFY BELL FOUNDATION, Ambassador Raffy Bell has extended heartfelt felicitation to the former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo on his 88th birthday anniversary celebration.
Bell, praised former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his lasting influence on Nigeria's governance and national discourse, especially for his role in nation building as an elder statesman.
Describing him as a leader whose interventions in public affairs have helped in policy making, and at large, hold leadership accountable.
In a tribute penned down to Obasanjo's 88th birthday anniversary celebration issued on Wednesday 5th March, 2025, Ambassador Bell highlighted the erstwhile president's decades of service to the nation in both military era and democratically elected leader.
He emphasized that Obasanjo's contributions continue beyond his time in office, as he remains a key voice in national and global affairs.
The Ijebu Christians leader, Ambassador Bell acknowledged Obasanjo's role in promoting christianity in Ogun State at large.
He further acknowledged Chief Olusegun Obasanjo's international influence as a respected elder statesman, peacemaker and advocate for good governance across Africa.
He prayed that God Almighty will grant him the grace and strength to live for more years so the nation and Africa can continue to benefit from his wisdom and knowledge.
