Ogun Lawmaker Urges Youths to Embrace Sports to Curb Social Vices.

Ogun State House Assembly Minority Leader and Member Representing Odogbolu State Constituency, Hon. Adeleye Lukman has urged the youths to Embrace Sports to activities to avoid Social vices.

The Lawmaker made this known during the marathon race event to commemorate the activities of Owo ila Celebration in Ijebu Irete.

Hon. Adeleye said Sporting activities remain a unifying factor among the people saying sports does not recognize colour, ethnic and religion because it is a unifying factor.

In his words" The young Lads of Irete has displayed exceptional talents in participating in the sporting activities to commemorate the Irete Owo ila festival.

" I have decided to sponsor this sporting activities in line with the vision of the state in identifying the hidden talents in our community. The National sport festival is coming up soon and in financing sports activities like this will help in fishing out the hidden talents. Programs like this is in tandem with the vision of the state especially for sports development" The Lawmaker said.

Hon. Lukman said sport is now the new crude oil as sporting program like this will opened avenue for young lad to earn money.

He then advice the youths to keep themselves busy with sports activities which will keep them away from social vices.
