IJEBU ODE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SETS RECORD STRAIGHT ON MARKET CLOSURE RUMORS

 

The Ijebu Ode Local Government has denied rumors of a 75-day market closure, calling the claims "false and misleading."

In an Ijebu Ode Local Government official document made available to "Ijebu Today" for public announcement, the Government urged traders and residents to disregard the false information and continue their daily activities accordingly.

According to said official memo subsequent official directives will be communicated through verified channels.

The Ijebu Ode Local Government also warned against spreading unverified news that could cause panic or disrupt public order.
