A Royal Declaration of Service: My Vision for the Awujale Stool

 

To the esteemed members of the Tunwase Royal Family and the good people of Ijebuland,

I, Otunba Bakre Abimbola Adeleke, humbly submit my letter of intent to serve the noble Stool of the Awujale of Ijebuland. As a direct descendant of Oba Adesimbo Tunwase and a proud member of the illustrious Fusengbuwa family, I am honored to declare my lineage and unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of our beloved Ijebuland.

*A Legacy of Service and Philanthropy*

Throughout my almost 52 years on planet earth.I have been driven by a passion for community development and a deep respect for our rich heritage. Some notable highlights of my community service include:

- *Erosion Control Project*: Single-handedly financing a multimillion-naira project in Mobalufon community, Ijebu-Ode, which earned me the recognition of having a street named after me in 2018.

- *Education*: Facilitating the upgrading, renovation, and furnishing of a six-classroom block at Moslem Comprehensive High School, Imepe, Ijebu-Ode, through my pet charity, Focused Educational and Welfare Foundation.

- *Youth Empowerment*: Initiating programs to support youth development and provide assistance to widows and the less privileged.

*A Royal Heritage*

My ancestry, tracing back to the Tunwase family through my great-grandfather Nanni Adelaja Tunwase and my connection with the Fusengbuwa / Ogunyandewo clan solidifies my claim to the royal heritage of Ijebuland. With over two decades of tireless work promoting the glory of Ijebuland, particularly through my involvement with the Tobalase/Obaneye age group, I am confident that my experience and philanthropic service make me a suitable candidate to ascend the throne of the Awujale.

I pledge to dedicate myself to the progress and unity of our land, working tirelessly to promote the welfare and prosperity of our people. I humbly seek the support, prayers, and encouragement of the good people of Ijebuland and the royal family as I embark on this noble endeavor.
