OTUNBAS OWOYEMI AND AJIDAGBA UNIFIED FACTION IS FINALLY EXPOSED AND CRUMBLING BEFORE THE FOLAGBADE'S FUSENGBUWA RULING HOUSE

Can integrity and principle be attributed to the Otunba Adedokun Ajidagba led faction of Fusengbuwa House?

On Thursday 18th September 2025, Otunba Ajidagba made press statement that Otunba Abdulateef Owoyemi is not related to the throne, and he has a court judgement as evidence, in which Otunba Owoyemi affirmed it on oath. However, on Friday 19th September 2025, he reconciled with the fact that the same person is his leader and Olori Ebi.

Without doubt, only one thing is behind it - a common front to fight the authentic Fusengbuwa Ruling House, led by Omoba Adebola Bamidele Adenuga from Folagbade Descendants. The dynamics of hijackers are always the same - only one goal irrespective of philosophy and integrity.

During the week, Omoba Adekunle Adenuga, secretary to the Folagbade's Fusengbuwa authentic ruling house gave an elucidating interview on NTA Ijebu Ode programme - Egbeyewo, in which he elaborated on the falsehood and misinterpretation of these factions based on the custom and laws guiding the selection of an Awujale. He even called on Government to set up an inquiry, and ask all factions to present their claims according to enabling laws and customs openly.

However, since they cannot face the submission, they are trying to hide under a fake union, thinking this is about democracy. It is on record and undoubtedly, they are struggling with issues of legitimacy according to our customs and enabling laws, and their propaganda on leadership is never explaining the foundation of their composition and existence. Trying to lay something on nothing is futility of their wildest dream.

1. Otunba Ajidagba's faction who claimed no descendants outside Fusengbuwa children have the right to be Awujale, have now accepted it is not more so. Consequently, they accept that Fusengbuwa House actually meant ruling lineage and never his biological children.

2. Prof Fassy Yusuf who Ajidagba's camp's secretary - Prince Adeyemi challenged is not linked to Tunwase's family is now their accepted deputy Olori Ebi.

3. Undoubtedly, the questions raised by Omoba Adekunle Adenuga to Otunba Ajidagba's camp via online platforms, shook them greatly. It most likely forced them to succumb to the idea of uniting with the Otunba Owoyemi's camp, which tends to be more broad with financial resources capital.

However, now that Ajidagba's camp is seemingly laid to rest for whatever reasons; the Owoyemi's camp would need to respond openly to their questions, if they are truly worth their professed claims;

1. Who are those who sat down to agree on four classifications of family lines, and before this last unification, were those resisting it like Otunba Ajidagba betrayals before?

2. What is the justification of the four projected family lines - Jadiara (grandfather of Fusengbuwa), Fusengbuwa, Tunwase and Bubiade (yet to be linked directly to any specific King)?

3. Why was Folagbade, the last king omitted or was the coming together of these constructed family lines only targeted at excluding Folagbade's descendants' right to the throne; especially since the Olori Ebi of Jadiara family, Dr Odedina openly responded to the Adenuga press statement saying Adenuga had had his share, so it fair the throne goes to another lineage?

4. Did the lineage start from Jadiara or was he not the son of another king, who also ought to be captured, or is this been orchestrated by some descendants of Jadiara for relevance and right to the throne because of their seemingly broad base family spectrum and perhaps wealth?

5. Has there ever been a reversed nomination in kingship, in which a king comes from any ancestors other than the last king in the ruling house?

6. What is their justification to state that Adenuga is under Tunwase his father, and they failed to put Tunwase under Fusengbuwa his father, and Fusengbuwa is not put under his unconfirmed father or Jadiara - his grandfather?

7. Is Adenuga not from the stock of all the kings - Jadiara, Fusengbuwa and Tunwase, and who is Bubiade representing - an unknown king?

8. If it is unfair for Adenuga to present a king, why must Jadiara, Fusengbuwa and Tunwase be allowed to present a king again when all of them had presented kings from amongst their biological sons?

9. Was it fair that Oba Jadiara, Oba Fusengbuwa and Oba Tunwase were succeeded by their biological progeny, but it is not fair for the last king in the ruling house - Oba Adenuga Folagbade to be succeeded by his?

10. If Adenuga presents a king, is the king not a descendant of Jadiara, Fusengbuwa, Tunwase and others deceitfully omitted kings in the ruling lineage?

The public and the Kingmakers are not unaware of the desperation of this unifying faction, to hijack and steal what is not theirs. No amount of public propaganda can intimidate the reality and truth of our customs and current laws that made reference to the last king in the ruling house.

This realignment of this wonderful camp of respected sons of Ijebu can only be an obsessive misadventures not backed by law or custom, which they ought to take sacredly if indeed they are worthy children of our royal ancestors.

1. Nomination of candidate is by inheritance and never a reversed one to ancestors. Their linked kings benefited from it - being sons of the last king at their time, and their biological children took over after them.

2. Kingship is not for outsiders nor for majority irrespective of any claims, the Ijebu people and kingmakers would not allow anyone to demean and desecrate our sacred customs.

3. Within the fairness and equity they wish to play as a card, they should know that those who call for equity must not only do equity, they must also come with clean hands.

The Adenuga led Fusengbuwa repository ruling house, is open to the understanding of these people especially those misled, and the Olori Ebi - Omoba Adebola Bamidele Adenuga (son of Alayeluwa, Oba Theophilus Adenuga Tunwase - Folagbade) call on them to surrender their obsession and respect our sacred customs as laid down by our royal ancestors, of whom they are connected.

Ori Ade will not betray us, and at the same time, may we not attract their anger.
