Abigi Kingdom Honours Onanuga Couple With Chieftaincy Titles

 

The Ojotumoro of Abigi, HRH., Barrister Olusegun Ogunye, has bestowed prestigious chieftaincy titles on UK-based couple, Otunba Temitayo and Yeye Olabisi Onanuga, recognizing their outstanding contributions to community development. 

The couple was conferred with the titles of Otunba Gbadero and Yeyeluwa of Abigi Kingdom, respectively.

The installation ceremony, held at the Ojotumoro's Palace on Thursday 11 December, 2025, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, HRH., Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo. 

Oba Ogunye praised the couple's achievements, noting that they "merited the honours". 

In their response, the Onanugas' expressed their gratitude, praying for the Ojotumoro's long and peaceful reign and the prosperity of Abigi land.
