Chief Coordinator "Women in Politics /D.A 2027 Project" Chief Mrs Cole Solicits For More Women Inclusion in Political Positioning.

 



The venue was filled to the brim with more Women from 15 Ward's alongside political Elderly Men's plus appointees and APC Party stakeholders in Odogbolu Local Government and obvious overflow were observed by passersby thus prompting needful inquiries concerning happenings within said Hall. 


Meanwhile on both the banners and orders for the Day event flyer,  all seen Women actually gathered to support "DA Project 2027" subsequent to his visibly present recorded achievements still ongoing. 


According to the Convener and Project Coordinating Officer, Chief Mrs. Oyinkansola Cole,  Commissioner III, Judiciary Service Commission. "We gathered here today to celebrate "Women in Politics" aiming to showcase their past, present dynamism and successes, while seeking for more inclusion for subsequent positions across board.


 We are here also to show our appreciation and continuous celebration concerning our esteemed Governor, HE Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for his continuous delivery on his promised mantra of ISEYA that span Infrastructure provision, Social Services development delivery, Education enhancement and Youths empowerment and Agriculture aimed at food provision for all" 


Simultaneously, we are here today too, to unfold as well as celebrate our Women in Politic Project's Chairman, for coming up with this laudable envisioned "Women in Politic/2027 PDA Project", Wife of our Odogbolu Chairman, Chief Mrs Bisola Diya , while aiming to inaugurate our Wards Coordinators and other Officers today. 


We would always align ourselves as Odogbolu Women in Politics Group with his Excellency's aims and objectives. 


According to Chief Coordinator, Chief Mrs Cole "Women are underrepresented in the scheme of power devolutions to Government key positions across all strata of governance from grassroot to upper echelon in the society.  We however need to continue to push further for inclusion and participation of our womenfolk accordingly. 


In her subsequent speech and message of the day's Event, Chief Mrs Cole specifically stated that "Everybody can't be in the position of power all the time however we all should aim to continue to push towards attaining available political position of authority with deserving members.  Thus from today every one of our qualified "Women" members would be daily stimulated towards achieving more inclusion via active participation  in all politicking from Ward Level, Local Government, State and National viz highest position in the country. 


We actually aimed to fight for justice for more women's inclusion in the political scheme. We want women to hold positions in key areas at Local Government, State and National legislative, executive and other agencies accordingly 


Other Women Leaders present that took turns spoke passionately about the crux of the issue concerning "Women in Politic" exploitation especially by the opposite genders.  


Chief Mrs. Bisola Diya – Wife of the Executive Chairman, Odogbolu LGA (Chairperson of the Day). Chief Yinka Ogunsowobo. Otunba Aderonke Kolade Crew (Mama Rontex) – Apex Female Political Leader. Princess Olukoya Adeola – Special Assistant on Women Affairs, all  expresses their personal experiences while counselling other women of their needs to do the needful concerning the subject matter for the day. 


"Women shouldn't be fighting their colleagues women and antagonising themselves concerning any portfolio or political issues but rather to support each other on noble ground so that more women can get an already legislated deserving reserved political position"


"Let us pray for each other rather than fighting each other. Don't mudsling, insult each other and expose each other's unwholesome issues in a pulldown syndrome".


"Don't let us trade our women's posts for men which would be detrimental to the growth of women in a political scheme.  If we don't support each other we would continue to take back seats politically and in other related society schemes of power devolutions". 


We're entitled to 35% to 45% percent of government representative positions as legislated 


We're here to build a better world and future for each woman in politics. To create a world where women's voices are heard locally and globally. 


The D.A. 2027 Project is not just a political movement; it is a revolution of purpose, unity, and visionary ambition, shaped by women who believe in the future of Ogun State. Inspired by the solid developmental milestones of Governor Dapo Abiodun, these women are not waiting for permission—they are leading the charge.
