Fusengbuwa Royal Family Management Committee Denounces Sectional Family Meeting By Anti Government Elements

 

The Ogun State Government recognised 12-Man Fusengbuwa Royal Family Management Committee (FRFMC) of Ijebu Ode hereby disassociate itself from an unauthorized meeting called for tomorrow the 9th of August at Agunsebi, Ijebu-Ode by some anti-government disgruntled elements who are working with outsiders to distrupt the peace of the family.

The general public will recall that the Fusengbuwa Royal Family prior to the Prince Dapo Abiodun Government intervention had 3 factions led by Otunba Lateef Owoyemi, Prof. Chief Fassy Yusuf and Otunba Dokun Ajidagba respectively. 

Based on the government intervention,  the three Olori Ebis agreed to form a collegiate leadership with other 9 members of their various factions. This was the Committee that superintended the nomination of aspirants who are interested in becoming the next Awujale.

It has come to the Management Committee's attentions that one Prince Adeleye Ademuyiwa who belongs to the Otunba Dokun Ajidagba's faction has called a meeting of the Family without the authority of Otunba Lateef Owoyemi and Prof. Fassy Yusuf. 

It must be stated unequivocally that if the members of the Otunba Ajidagba's group have problems with their Olori Ebi, they should deal with it in their faction and not drag the Fusengbuwa Royal Family and the Ogun State Government into it.

The good people of Ijebu Ode and the public at large should disregard whatever predetermined resolutions that the illegal meeting may come up with.

The Fusengbuwa Royal Family Management Committee hereby restate its total support for the steps taken by the government of our dear son, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON on the Awujale succession matter.

We trust that the State Government will do the right thing at the right time.
